The cool breezy day marked the cultural celebrations of Baisakhi in BVM(USN). All the four houses unbolted the magical treasure chest of their spectacular skills and talents. ‘Bhagat Singh’ house enlightened the Bhartiyans about the great grandiose of Punjabi culture and establishment of Khalsa Panth and out stream of consciousness reached ‘Jallian Wala Bagh’ with Swami Vivekanand House’ to pay a homage to the victims of the brutal holocaust. Where the harmonious melody of folk songs and rhythmatic poems by ‘Lok Manya Tilak House’ cast a sweet spell on the ears, ‘ Aurobindo House’ took one and all with the twirling flow of the bopping beats of Gidda and Bhangra. Last but not the least, Mrs.Rasdeep Kaur’s quintessential speech highlighting the importance of the day illumined the bright spirits with great vigour and valiance. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi applauded all the efforts and extended her warm and whole-hearted wishes, giving the message of peace and harmony, on this auspicious day.
